Enshrouded world settings not working? Update to 1.0.0.2

Update Enshrouded to hotfix 1.0.0.2 if your world settings stopped responding after the first launch-day hotfix. The repair arrived on 16 October 2026 as build 1269579, following the full release on 15 October. Install the update, reopen the game and try editing the same world again.

Install the world-settings repair

Finish installing the latest available game update before retrying the edit button. Hotfix 1.0.0.1, build 1267041, introduced this problem while changing the session lists in the multiplayer join menus. The following hotfix restores world configuration. Use 1.0.0.2 as the repair version when checking which update you need, rather than stopping at the first launch-day patch.

Return to the world you were trying to edit and check whether its settings now open for configuration. That is the result you need from this repair. Keep your existing world for this check; starting a replacement would leave you testing a different world. For the separate transition from Early Access, use the save carry-over and storage-tab checks.

Use the older workaround only on 1.0.0.1

If you are still running 1.0.0.1 and cannot install the repair yet, try the temporary workaround: subscribe to any item in Adventure Sharing, then try editing your world again. This was the developer's interim advice for an edit button that would not respond. Once you can update, move to the repaired version instead of relying on that extra subscription.

If world settings remain unresponsive after updating and retrying, contact Enshrouded support through the link in the current hotfix notes. Describe the edit-button problem and include the version you installed. Watch for a reply asking for details or specific files for investigation, and provide the requested information so support can investigate the remaining fault.
