Warframe: how to get Incarnon Genesis adapters

Get Incarnon Genesis adapters in Warframe by choosing two rewards in the Steel Path Circuit, then earning enough progress to reach their tiers. Take an earned adapter, a compatible weapon and its installation resources to Cavalero in the Chrysalith on the Zariman. You can also buy the current rotation's adapters from his store with Platinum.

This covers the Genesis system introduced on 26 April 2023, the expanded shop from Isleweaver on 25 June 2025 and the June 2026 additions, checked through 2 November 2026. Follow the same route on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Switch 2. Genesis adapters upgrade existing weapons; keep them separate from standalone Incarnon weapons.

Check access before choosing an adapter

Complete The Duviri Paradox and unlock The Steel Path before attempting its Circuit reward track. Use our Steel Path unlock instructions for Teshin's checklist and the separate normal-mode Duviri completions. Those checks open the activity; completing Angels of the Zariman gives you access to Cavalero for the later installation.

You can earn a Circuit adapter before owning its matching weapon. Plan the installation around a weapon you have, or intend to obtain: the adapter is an upgrade item, rather than a complete gun or blade. Check the family name and the particular variant you want to upgrade before committing resources.

Put your first choice at Tier 5

Choose The Circuit with Steel Path selected and inspect the week's five adapter offerings. Select two: your first selection becomes the Tier 5 reward, and your second becomes the Tier 10 reward. Put the one you want sooner first. You can deselect and reorder your choices before confirming; confirmation locks that week's reward path.

Complete Circuit stages to build progress along the track. Reaching the relevant reward tier delivers its adapter to your inventory, ready for installation. Check the reward and tier before continuing: owning the adapter and having it installed are separate states. The selection screen's Owned and Installed icons help distinguish equipment you already have.

Check Cavalero's shop for the paid route

For a Platinum alternative, visit Cavalero's store in the Chrysalith and check Incarnon Market against the current Steel Path Circuit rotation. Isleweaver expanded purchases to adapters in that rotation, and the purchase includes the adapter's installation resources. Check the actual offer before spending; use the Circuit route when you want to earn your chosen upgrade through play.

The newer Vectis, Stug, Ballistica, Destreza and Obex adapters joined the Circuit in June 2026. Their shop availability follows their Circuit offering too. If the weapon you want is absent from this week's selection, return when its offering rotates in rather than grinding the current track expecting a different adapter.

Install it on the intended weapon variant

Bring your adapter, its compatible weapon and the listed resources to Cavalero. Open Evolve Incarnon Weapons and select the weapon you intend to upgrade. Check your Arsenal's weapon description beforehand: when you own a compatible Genesis, it tells you to visit Cavalero to install it. Verify the full variant name before confirming.

Budget 20 Pathos Clamps plus the particular Duviri resources requested for that adapter. Collect Pathos Clamps by defeating the Orowyrm in The Duviri Experience or The Lone Story. Read the remaining resource names and quantities on your installation screen; different adapters need different materials. Afterwards, equip the upgraded weapon and follow its challenges to unlock further evolutions.

Move an adapter without expecting a material refund

To recover an installed adapter, return to Cavalero, choose Evolve Incarnon Weapons and select its current weapon. Choose Remove Incarnon on the Evolution screen. This returns the Genesis to your inventory, while the resources spent on its original installation stay consumed. Gather the next installation's materials before moving it to another compatible variant.
