Order of the Sinking Starrelease times by region

Order of the Sinking Star releases at 6pm BST on Thursday 8 October 2026 in the UK. That is 10am PDT in Los Angeles and 1pm EDT in New York. The publisher's official global schedule covers Steam on PC and Steam Deck, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

This guide applies to the 8 October launch schedule, checked on 8 October. In Beijing and Sydney, the same release falls on Friday 9 October. Use the city and time-zone abbreviation together: the publisher's map uses British Summer Time, not GMT, and Australian Eastern Daylight Time, not AEST. Those distinctions affect the hour you should expect.

Find your local unlock time

The table transcribes the cities shown on the official release map. Read the date as well as the time, particularly east of Europe. If your city is absent, convert 17:00 UTC on 8 October into your own time zone; that UTC reference is calculated from the map's London and Los Angeles entries.

Separate the launch from earlier coverage

The review embargo lifted on 7 October, a day before the release. Seeing reviews or gameplay videos before your local unlock therefore does not establish that your purchased copy should already be playable. Gematsu's release announcement independently confirms the 8 October date and the three launch platforms; the precise regional hours above come from the publisher's newer schedule.

These are scheduled release times, not a guarantee that every download finishes at that moment. The official post does not provide a pre-load timetable, installation size or a workaround for a store that still shows the game as unavailable. It would be misleading to turn the schedule into a promised download duration or to prescribe account-region changes. If availability differs from the table, check the publisher's latest announcement for an update before treating this guide as a troubleshooting procedure.
