Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo save transfer

To carry your Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo progress into the full game, keep the demo save, stay on the same platform and account, and install the full game's latest update. These requirements apply to the 15 October 2026 launch on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Transfer details may change at release.

Keep the platform and account together

Choose the full game on the platform where you played the demo. Your Steam demo progress belongs with the Steam version; your PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch demo belongs with the corresponding console version. Use the same account for both. Treat those as two separate checks before buying: matching the game title alone is not enough to meet the transfer requirements.

Keep your demo save data intact while preparing for launch. That saved progress is the prerequisite for carrying your opening chapter into the full version. Leave it in place rather than clearing saved data to make room for the release. You can play the opening chapter now and retain that progress for the Day One version, provided you meet the platform, account and update conditions.

Update the full game before transferring

Install the latest full-game update before transferring your demo save. Buying or downloading the full version is only part of the preparation: the transfer requirement also includes bringing that version up to date. Keep the original demo save available during this process. The demo restricts some features and content, so use your saved opening-chapter progress as the starting point for the full release.

If your progress is unavailable at launch, check the four requirements together: the same platform, the same account, the retained demo save and the latest full-game version. Keep the existing save while checking them. Prepare those conditions before launch and leave your saved data intact until you can continue in the full version.
