If your Deluxe aircraft skins are missing from Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve's Campaign Mode, finish the campaign first. Bandai Namco's edition details place the F-4E Mobius Squadron and F/A-18C Team Zvezda skins behind campaign completion. This guide applies to the 2 October 2026 launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; other Deluxe extras have different limits.
Check which Deluxe extra you are looking for
The Customizable Cosmetic Set includes two aircraft skins, a Tasha Costume Set and Scarlet Missile Smoke. They are not four interchangeable campaign rewards. The European edition breakdown says the aircraft skins become available in Campaign Mode after the campaign is completed. The American product page specifies completing all missions. If you are still working through the story, their absence there is consistent with the published requirement.
The costume and smoke are listed as Online Mode only. Completing the campaign does not turn either into a campaign cosmetic. Before treating an extra as missing, match its name to the mode in which the publisher says it can be used. Standard Edition does not list the Customizable Cosmetic Set among its contents; check your purchase receipt for the edition you actually own.

Complete the campaign for the aircraft skins
For the two named Deluxe skins, the documented campaign prerequisite is completion, rather than buying another pass or reaching an online rank. Continue through the campaign's missions before checking for those aircraft appearances again. Bandai Namco does not give a separate difficulty requirement in these edition notes, so there is no documented reason here to restart on a harder setting just for the skins.
The official pages establish eligibility, but do not publish a full skin-selection menu route or a repair procedure for an eligible skin that still fails to appear. This guide therefore cannot promise a particular button sequence or a reinstall fix. If you have completed all campaign missions and own the relevant edition, a continuing absence falls outside the completion gate explained by these sources.
Keep the Premium Ace Pass voucher separate
The Deluxe Edition also includes a Premium Ace Pass Plus voucher. Bandai Namco describes it as one season of premium content, with a 30-level skip; the voucher can be saved for a future season. It is a separate entitlement from the named Customizable Cosmetic Set. Redeeming it is not stated as the condition that makes the two Deluxe aircraft skins usable in the campaign.
The Season 1 ADFX-02 Morgan -PIXY- aircraft has its own rules. The American FAQ says Deluxe owners who redeem their premium voucher receive it immediately for Online Mode, while campaign use requires completing all campaign missions. That is an aircraft reward, not the Mobius Squadron or Team Zvezda paint. PC Gamer's launch review covers the campaign and its combat; the eligibility conditions above come from Bandai Namco's edition notes and FAQ.
