To unlock Warbonds in Helldivers 2, open Acquisitions and buy the track with Super Credits, then spend Medals on its rewards. Start with the free Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond if you want equipment without buying another track. These instructions cover PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, including the Premium Warbond Token system introduced on 26 August 2025.

Open the Warbond you want

Open the in-game Acquisitions store and browse the Warbond catalogues. Choose the track containing the equipment you want, then check its access price before buying. A Premium Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits. Legendary Warbonds have separate prices: the Halo: ODST track, for example, costs 1,500 Super Credits. Budget for the track you have selected rather than assuming every catalogue costs the same.

You can buy Super Credits or find them during missions by exploring points of interest. Use whichever route suits you, then return to the catalogue when your balance covers its price. Buying access opens the reward track; keep some Medals ready for the individual items inside. You can also begin with Helldivers Mobilize!, which is available free from the start, and spend your Medals there while saving Super Credits.

Check for a Premium Warbond Token

Before spending Super Credits, select an unowned Premium Warbond and read the button at the bottom right. Claim Premium Warbond means you have a token available; Buy Premium Warbond means the purchase uses Super Credits. The token has no separate inventory icon. When you already own every Premium track, wait for another Premium Warbond to become available before checking the button.

The token comes with new purchases of the Super Citizen Edition or Super Citizen Upgrade from 26 August 2025. For an earlier upgrade, check all four conditions: you bought the upgrade before that date; bought Steeled Veterans with Super Credits before upgrading; already owned that Warbond rather than receiving it with the upgrade; and never claimed the 1,000-Super-Credit reimbursement from Player Support. Receiving Steeled Veterans with your original Super Citizen purchase uses that entitlement. Keep a Premium token for a Premium track; Legendary Warbonds require their own Super Credit purchase. This eligibility check follows Arrowhead's FAQ updated on 9 October 2026.

Spend Medals to open later pages

Once you own the Warbond, choose an available reward and spend the Medals shown for that item. Earn more Medals by completing objectives, missions and operations, or finding them while exploring. Personal Orders and the community's Major Orders also provide Medal rewards. Return to the same catalogue to spend them on the equipment you want next, checking both its price and the page it belongs to.

To open a later page, spend the required total within that particular Warbond. Purchases on any of its pages count towards the next page, so you can choose between available rewards instead of clearing every item on the first page. Keep spending in the track containing your target reward until its next page becomes available. A large unspent Medal balance alone leaves that spending requirement unfinished.

Keep progress in the right catalogue

You can work on several owned Warbonds at once, and they stay available without an expiry date. Pick the next reward you want before spending: buying items in a different Warbond advances that catalogue's pages. For a later-page weapon, direct your purchases into its own track until the page opens, then save enough Medals to redeem the weapon itself.

Check the result at each stage. First, you should be able to enter the owned Warbond. Next, the required page should open after enough Medals have been spent in it. Finally, redeem the individual reward. Those are separate milestones: paying for the catalogue gives you access to work through it, while your Medal purchases provide its equipment.
