A villain called DJ Hush wants Soundtown silent. Let's Sing 2027 gives you a fairly direct way to object: sing. Its new Party mode wraps three singing minigames in a rescue-the-music story, playable alone or with one friend. That last number is worth noticing before inviting a roomful of people to save the city. The game accommodates four singers elsewhere, but this adventure is for one or two.

Voxler's karaoke game arrives on 3 November for PS5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with THQ Nordic publishing. Nintendo's current UK listing still gives that date, while the PlayStation Store labels the game announced. This is a preview of the confirmed modes and catalogue, rather than a judgment on microphone accuracy or how those minigames feel to play. The useful distinction is what you can sing together, and how much of the advertised song library comes with the game.

Four voices, or a duet against DJ Hush

Classic mode lets one to four players compete for the best singing score. Feat uses the same player range for cooperative performances, including duets. Party narrows that to one or two for the Soundtown story. The official site describes three new minigames but does not explain their individual rules in its text. It would be premature to describe a whole campaign from that outline; what is established is a separate, smaller cooperative activity alongside the four-player singing modes.

Each song has its original music video, and the vocal guide is adjustable. You can sing alongside the original artist or remove that vocal support. That is an appealing choice for a mixed gathering: the person who wants help finding the melody and the person who wants the song to themselves have different options. Compatible microphones are supported, and the free Let's Sing Companion app lets a smartphone act as a microphone. Its stated minimums are iOS 15 or Android 8.0.

Read the catalogue in two parts

The base game advertises 35 songs. Nintendo's UK listing names Chappell Roan's The Subway, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' Die With A Smile, Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso and Ed Sheeran's Azizam among them. It is a recognisably recent pop selection, so the practical attraction depends on whether those are songs your household wants to sing. The official site also warns that some songs belong to particular regional editions. Don't assume a playlist from another country describes your copy.

The VIP Pass is separate access to a regularly updated catalogue advertised as more than 150 songs. The site offers passes lasting one, three or twelve months. That larger number should not be read as permanent ownership of an enormous base-game playlist. For a prospective buyer, the 35 included songs and the additional, time-limited catalogue are two different reasons to spend money.

Returning players should also check their console. Xbox Gamer's Benoit Doucet highlighted the publisher change from Plaion and the absence of an announced Xbox version in his August report. THQ Nordic's current announcement names PS5 and the two Switch systems; it does not announce PC or Xbox. No reason for that omission is established here. For households with a supported console, the clearest invitation remains straightforward: four voices can compete or cooperate, while a pair can take on the man trying to silence Soundtown.
